Peanutbutter and jelly

Ahhhh... The great Peanut-butter and jelly. A lunch, snack, breakfast, and dinner food that gets boring faster then you can say it's name, "peanut-butter and jelly". Okay so, lets say that is all you eat in your lunch every single day of the dang year! You are bored thinking about it, am I right? As we all know it is a great concept, peanuts, fruit, and bread (kinda ) but so overused. So why not make all the flavors stand out and taste better. In a warm, crunchy, melty, yummy...... wait for it................................................................................................................. GRILLED PEANUT-BUTTER AND JELLY SANDWICH! great right!?! so all you have to do is make a pbj sandwich, but butter on the outer breads, spray a pan with olive oil and put the sandwich on the stove. Boom, a great, less boring sandwich! try it(:

(sorry I have not posted anything in a long time)

Dunkers

Dunkers... They are a pizza like food from my moms high school hang out! For fourth of July we had my brothers girlfiends family (we'll her and her mom). We made lots of food, every possible vegtable steamed, mixed berry pie (whitch I will tell you about later) and hamburgers. As you know I am a vegitarian and do not under anny circumstances want to eat a poorly treated cow! So we were at Albertsons getting meat to grill and I had this deliciouse idea to get DUNKERS. I did not want the every day meal, Pasta:( We have it all the time and that is one reason I did this blog. We went and got there hot and freash bread which as of this momemt is almost gone because of everybody's hunger issues. We waited till 9:20 to eat ( which I must tell you my brother was not happy with.) Dunkers, my favorite food. It is a quick and easy yummy meal!

You get a loaf of French
Your favorite red sause
Mosserell cheese, Shread it.

But the cheese on the bread
Broil for a couple minutes
heat up sause

And Dunk!

Yesterday me and my sister were "CRAVING" CHOCOLATE! We found this chocolate cake we were supposed to make for her 13th birthday. Well... we decided to make that. Me and her were the only people home so nobody could stop us now. I swear we made that cake like know other. So fast it was... i'm Speechless! The over couldn't go any slower, we waited, and waited, and waited, then finally DING! we hoped up and waiter about 5 minutes to take the cake out of the pan witch probably wasn't the best idea because the both ripped wile taking them out of the pan!?! we plopped on the frosting.. put on the decorations and here is what happens.... It is fishy themed! We were going to do blue and green sprinkles but they were flavored. I know it's wrong of us to use box cake (It was an emergency) This is one thing we used to fatten up Ted.

French toast

My next goal is French toast! I am excited because I love breakfast food... my neighbor has requested that I start working on my French toast recipe. I gave them the rest of the coffee cake I made this morning, and they LOVED it. (So did I) I figured why make him the same old boring French toast my mom makes? That spice this up a little and make it crunchy! I know they basic recipe so I will use that as base and add/change. I was thinking about adding like a cup of some sort of crunchy cereal. Who knows?? Well, I wan't to make him this for breakfast soon but I need to stale some bread first.... Talk to you soon:)

P.S. I hope you like my coffee cake recipe! Please Comment.

THIS RECIPE IS FOR YOGURT AND FUTURE YOGURT LOVERS!
Just now my mom made up this delicious pudding like mixture... So crazy healthy you would never guess by it's taste. We haven't mastered the recipe but here is a sketch. You get plain yogurt, dark or milk cocoa, and 3/4 pack a pack of truvia. How simple is that?!? There is about less then a table spoon per half cup yogurt. Now just throw in what you like for your taste. We were thinking you could mix it up really well, till it is fluffy, and then freeze it. So it would be more like pudding. But if you just want the chocolate and want it now (like us) you can gust hand mix it and then float in heaven. While you are telling yourself "I really shouldn't have, I should go work out." SHUT-UP AND EAT MORE! but remember... it is so flipping good for you you will be wonder how healthy and yummy together is possible:) Add fruit, yummy

COFFEE CAKE

Today I got up at 6 am to make coffee cake!! I was tired but it was worth it, for sure:)
It WAS a cinnamon coffee cake with a cinnamon crumb topping... TO DIE FOR
It is my first time so of course it was not perfect, but I made mistakes that made all the difference... in a great way. One word for ya.. BUTTER. The recipe calls for 1/4 cups butter in the crumb topping. Well... That didn't really phase me, because I accidentally put in in the cake. Later on I realized that the softened butter was supposed to go in the crumb topping so what did i do... went to the fridge and got more BUTTER! I put that butter in the microwave because I didn't have enough time to soften it over night. Personally I am against putting things in the microwave, but since it was for more butter I did it. The problem with microwaving butter is that the microwave can heat the butter unevenly, and tends to over-soften or even melt the butter in places. You want pliable butter for beating, not almost melting butter.

I made this cake for my moms 4 running friends. One of them was moving to Wisconsin. I didn't tell them what was in it because they are all very healthy people... I hope they never find out. Also I like making lattes. I Made some for them and used half and half, probably not the best idea for people that are slimming. I am better at eating healthy then making healthy.

FWI: One of the op coffee "critics" in the running group said that was the best latte she has had since last august before when we went on our adventure year around the world... I am one great amateur.

Recipe:
Cinnamon coffee cake
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup canola oil
3/4 cup milk

Cinnamon crumb topping
1/3 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

To make the coffee cake you...
Preheat oven to 375
Combine dry ingredients with 1/4 cup butter (1/2stick butter)
Beat egg, oil,milk,with dry ingredients
Spray Pam oil in pan. Fill with batter
Spread cinnamon topping on top
Bake 20-25

I also figured out coffee cake has no coffee in it, it is was people eat with coffee.

I have changed this recipe based on another recipe.

The Chef

This is ME! I am 11 years old, and absolutely LOVE food. One thing you should know about me before we start this adventure is I am a vegetarian! You are probably thinking... "how can someone love food and not eat meat?" It's crazy I know. I just CAN'T stand the thought of eating an animal:( Also, my favorite part of cooking is cutting. Although I have a fear of knifes, cutting seems to relax me! I like to mince everything because it calls for more CUTTING...
